goodmorning!! hay… i am still not feeling well… today’s my 3rd day of you-know-what, PLUS i have tonsillitis. and i am wondering where the hell did i get this from… maybe from the lotsa chocolates i ate last monday.. tskk.. what a misfortune! i slept at 2am and woke up at exactly 7 in the morning.. it’s because nat is soo loud.. he sings so loud in the morning!! and i couldn’t go back to sleep because of his noise! grr!!

anyways.. i just finished everything.. as in everything we have to pass today.. this is really CRAMMING! because i thought we still have our saturday duty and our clinical instructor would let us do the case presentation on saturday.. but to my surprise, jason told us that we will be doing our case pres today.. and i haven’t done anything yet! that’s the reason why i stayed up sooooo late..
anyways.. like what i have said a couple of hours ago.. like 1:30 am?! hehe.. i do have lots of kwentos… and here there are…

DIAPER CHALLENGE.
i was assigned to 2 patients in Amang Rodriguez.. Bed3 patient was paralyzed and Bed8 patient is ambulatory. i thought i would really be toxic with my bed8 patient since he just got from his cholecystectomy (gallbladder removal) and is under recovery.. i was expecting that i would be changing his wound dressing… but it didn’t happen. The nursing aid asked who was assigned in bed 3 and of course, i raised my hand… and approached her. i asked what am i going to do.. she told me, “pakilinisan sya, nagdumi na raw sya.. maghanap ka ng kasama mo.” i answered.. “yes, ma’am.” oh my god.. i thought.. this is it! i am goin to change diapers! plus.. i’ll be seeing his… toooot!!! haha! since jaja is vacant, i asked her to accompany me.. then we prepared ourselves physically and psychologically for this challenge.. hehe!!after we have don our gloves and mask.. we proceeded to my patient’s room. and then the challenge began…guess what…. i wasn’t shocked with his toot… i was shocked with the smell.. the foul odor… his yucky feces!! it was sooo gross… i swear.. hate me now.. but i swear… i almost puked in front of my patient… jaja was about to throw up too! we just controlled it..!! argh.. i thought that was the last time i will do it.. but the next day… the nursing aid told me to clean him up again.. ohmygawd! not again.. since jaja wasn’t around… i asked mommy lette to accompany me.. and i swear.. the reaction i saw with jaja’s face the other day was exactly the reaction of mommy lette too! but this time.. this is more yucky.. more gross!! he defecated a lot!!!! as in A LOT!! waaahhh!!! what crime did i do?! why am i punished in this way!!! haha!! but seriously.. i won’t forget this thing that happened to me.. i just learned that i really have to do everything for my patient.. just to make him feel comfortable and all that… hayyy.. what will be the next challenge to me?

PHARMACOLOGY FINALS EXEMPTION
i was sooo in panic last monday because we have THREE tests the next day.. 2 fnal exams (pharma and rizal) and 1 long test in NCM (my major subject)… i just read and browsed my notes, my books, my handouts and my reviewers… and slept…the next day.. i found out, julia, khay and i are exempted in our finals together with our other classmates... our professor asked us if we would like to take the exam.. if we will not, we will have a grade of 1.75 automatically.. since that is our grade in midterm. if we will take the exam.. we’ll take the risk.. that is to have a grade higher than 1.75 or lower than that.. since we have these modus operandi… we decided to take the exams.. hehe…!! i am also confident since i got plus 30.. in my final exams.. because i answered our professor’s bonus question… and i passed an optional requirement.. actually, i am the only person who has a plus 30.. the rest.. they got plus 20.. hehe!! i really wish… i got higher than 1.75… (keeps fingers crossed!**)

UNJUST ORAL REVALIDA
another major thing that happened this week is our oral revalida… i was one of the 1st batch of students who will be doing the oral revalida…i went up stairs because i got the Fluids and Electrolytes concept.. when i got in the room… i was asked to pick a procedure.. the procedure i got was Blood Transfusion… PATAY!!! i didnt focus on blood transfusion.. i just read it.. i even forgot what i read! haha!! good thing is that the CI under blood transfusion was kind and accomodating.. i was nervous at first but because i felt comfortable.. my nervousness faded.. i admit i did a lot of mistakes.. i wasnt able to answer one question… i even demanded for materials… pero.. whatever the outcome of my oral revalida.. i will accept it.. at least i wasnt traumatized unlike my other classmates who were shouted at… that is really UNJUST! if those professors want to be respected.. they should respect their students too.. they don’t have to shout at their students… it would just pressure their students… that biatch… i hope she’ll be kicked out from the school.. what an unworthy and mean professor!! grrr!!

anyway.. i really gotta go… it’s 10am already and i have to prepare for my duty.. hay.. this would be our last duty as a group.. i hope we will still be groupmates next sem… please God… i love this group… i swear!! hay.. i’ll miss all of them… gotta go.. btw..
