My day started with anxiety. Since our Adventure isn’t available because my mom used it, my dad insisted to take me to SM North Edsa (because it’s where the Malanday buses pass) with our Firebolt (our cool motorcyle. hehe) Eversince he bought it, the idea of him taking me to a place with the Firebolt is a no-no for me. My reason is that it’s dangerous and I don’t have a helmet, and it’s so smokey, and my uniform/clothes will absorb the pollution and — Ok.. fine. I am scared! Since I have no choice and I am already late to commute, I agreed. Man, it was freakin’ cold! Imagine, that was around 6:00 am and I felt the fog rushing in my veins. Haha!
Fastforward to the delivery room. This is a lucky day for us. Because we had 10 patients. 8 for deliveries and 2 for D&Cs (raspa in tagalog). We were so busy in our 8 hour shift that we didn’t realize that it’s already time to go home. Yeyba! My cases for the delivery room is now complete. Now my only problem is for minor and major surgeries. According to PRC, every student nurse must have assisted 5 major and 5 minor surgeries. As far as I can remember, I have already completed my minor surgeries. So that means I only need 5 major cases. Woot!
Fastforward to SM North Edsa. I went back to SM North Edsa after our duty. I tried to change my flip flops for a bigger size but the sales lady said that they can’t because it has been 4 days since I bought it. They can only change it after 2 days of purchase. I texted my bro to tell my dad to pick me up at SM (this time with our Adventure, whew!). While waiting for them, I canvassed for iPod Nanos because I am thinking of asking my lovely parents to buy me one as ONE of my graduation gifts. Hehe.
Fastforward to our subdivision. When we entered our subdivision’s gate, I saw this two maids in their pink checkered uniforms whom I think will go to the grocery store for some errands. When I saw them, I got so pissed. Not because of what they look like but because they are wearing those uniforms. I don’t really like the idea of letting the maids wear uniforms. For me, it’s degrading. Ok, I can accept it if they are inside the house they are serving but what I am against is that they still wear those freakin uniforms when they go out in the grocery stores and in the mall or in the church. Why oh why. It’s humiliating. I don’t know but I am totally against it. People always look down on them when they wear that. Do their so-called masters actually know what those helpers feel when they wear it? It somehow affects their ego, their self-esteem, and their self-confidence. They feel they are hopeless. It’s as if they are the lowest kind of people on earth. Damn. Can our senators pass a bill about this? If not… okay.. wait for me for like 10 years, and I’ll do the role.
P.S.
Thanks for liking my biatchy layout.
Au Revoir.
