Happy New Year everyone. How was your medja noche? Did you utilize your stomach’s elasticity? I bet you did! My family’s new year’s eve celebration wasn’t different from the previous ones. Same old brand new, I must say.

I got lots of things to say. The good ones first. Unexpectedly, my parents bought me an iPod Nano! If you have read my previous rants I only wished for it as one of my graduation gifts. But last December 31, 2005, a few hours before the celebration, we went to the mall to buy either a Sony Jelly-bean Like mp3 player or MPIO FL350. We went to look for those but unfortunately, we only found a 256mb-MPIO FL350 which costs P7990. What I really wanted is the 1 gigabyte-unit that is only P6490 (cheaper yet reliable). Then my dad asked about the iPod Nano. I told him that I really wanted it but it is way expensive than the ones I am looking for. But he insisted. So we went to the shop… and the rest is history.

I am regressing. Haha! Why in the world did I use that term? Oh well, what I only want to say is that I am going back to what I am doing before. I posted way back in my eerie-silence days (I miss my ES family) that I miss playing the guitar. And now.. I went back to my old hobby. Yeyba. But on the other hand, I don’t like it when my frustration of becoming a band vocalist haunts me whenever I play it. Rarr.

I have 2 newly uploaded give-away layouts in ALAPAAP. One is from my Twinnie Joyce. It’s an Emily the Strange Coded Layout for Blogspot. Thanks again, Joyce! The other one is.. believe it or not.. a WORDPRESS Theme that I made. I poured every sweat and blood that I have in making a wordpress theme. You know that I am not really used to using wordpress but I tried making one. Sorry to say. It’s not free. I am selling it for P60. I think the price is just right. If you’re a fan of Lindsay Lohan who loves the combination of pink and blue… Go get it! Here’s a screen cap of it.

So for the not-so good news. I am going to have a short break. Earlier this arvo, while eating at Palais de Poulet (new term for KFC. Hehe!) I had this 5-second-vertigo-like-feeling. Yeah. It was a sudden blackout. Good thing I was sitting at that time. What if we were strolling in the mall? I might have fainted in the middle of the crowd of Robinson’s Place. My surroundings was spinning so fast that I closed my eyes to prevent from getting dizzy. But it didn’t help. Even if my eyes were closed, I still felt it. Creepy. I guess I am so stressed from all of my duties. You all know that my vacation wasn’t really a vacation. And aside from the duties, I think I am also psychologically stressed because of my worries for our thesis and our community immersion. I really need a lot of rest and sleep. I also failed to take my daily vitamins and my ferrous sulfate. Sheesh. I really need to be healthy. Because of what have happened to me a while ago, I decided to lessen my time in blogging or just take a slight vacation from the net (that is if I can control it. Haha!) I got lots of things to do this year. The seminar. The thesis. Our Community Immersion. Our community immersion will be in Brgy. Biluso, Silang, Cavite during Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays every week. Hayyy…

Another not-so good news is that I won’t be reviewing for the board exam in Baguio. My parents didn’t let me. They told me that why do I have to review there when there are lots of Review Centers here in the Manila. I didn’t argue with them because I know they’re right. Hay.. I just wanted the climate there. Goodbye Ukay-ukay! Hehe.
