// EDIT022006: I’m thinking of auditioning for our grand parish choir. Will I join or not? // END OF EDIT//

NOTE: Lazy readers keep off. This is a very long entry.

What a hell week it is! I have been so busy for the whole week. Yes, The whole week - from Monday to Saturday. It’s a good thing that I was able to sleep this afternoon upon arriving here in my house. I miss my bed so much!

Monday
We had our graveyard shift (11-7am). Our clinical instructor really sucks! I hate her! No more words to say.

Tuesday
I greeted all my friends in my phonebook a Happy Heart’s Day. I went home at around 7:30 am and tried to sleep. At 11am, I couldn’t sleep anymore so I just ate this very spicy sausage my uncle bought from the states. I left the house at 2pm to meet our statistician in school for our mock defense. After meeting the statistician, we all went home to prepare for our group date. (Remember, the date here is Feb14). We ate at Dencio’s near the Big Brother House and just across the ABSCBN building. I really enjoyed our dinner because first, my group is complete (the 8 of us) and second, at last, we were able to pursue our plan to have a group dinner date. Our bill reached P3100 and after paying it, we proceeded to Valenzuela for our last day of grave yard shift. We actually left the place at 10:30 pm and we really rushed because our duty starts at 11pm. Thank God for those Need for Speed-inspired cabs for taking us to VGH in just 15 minutes.

Wednesday
I went home at around 5:00 am and I got really scared when I was in the waiting area for jeepneys. It was still dark then and the sun hasn’t risen yet. My mom and dad actually scolded me for not texting them that I was on my way home. They told me that I should have texted them so that they could just pick me up rather than going home alone at a not-so-safe time. I just slept for about 30 minutes and prepared for school because we have an exam at 9am. I was really exhausted when I arrived in school. I felt like crying because I really wanted to sleep but I can’t because we still have piles of paperworks to do. I went home at 3 pm as soon as I was done with the typing of the requirements. I slept for like 3 hours then went ahead to my other unfinished requirements. After which, I packed my things for our last week of community immersion. I dozed off at around 12am.

Thursday
I woke up at 4am to prepare. Fast forward to Cavite. We arrived there at around 8:30 am. We actually didn’t rest because we started buying all the stuffs we need in the market. Upon arriving at the house we’re staying in, I, Aldrich, Trisha and Rhea started cooking and preparing all the viendas needed for our last dinner. After eating our lunch, we didn’t rest but we did all the works needed for our project in the barangay which is the profiling system. Just wanna let you know that our group is the model for all the barangays in Silang, Cavite. Haha! I am just so proud, you know! The head of this certain office in Silang, Cavite acknowledged our work and she hoped that the other barangays would do the same way. Awww.. Anyways, that night, we started cooking all the viendas for dinner. I was so tired that I just wanted to lie down but I couldn’t because there were still so much food to prepare. We ate our dinner at around 9:30pm and rested for a while. The foods were so delicious! Yes it is, because I prepared it and we cooked it! After a 20-minute rest, I started teaching them our dance number which is “I Like you with a chorus of Average Joe” taken from the Starstruck’s dance hits. After finishing and polishing the steps at 11pm, we went home to prepare for the next day’s big event which is the Socialization Day. We actually didn’t sleep yet because we still did all the props and our token for Ate Jane and Lola Fely (the kind people who accommodated us in their house). The last time I checked my watch was 1am.

Friday
This is it! This is our last day! The program went well although there were some conflicts but at least we were able to fix it before the program started. We danced our intermission number and also the other group did their part. After the program, without any clue, our clinical instructor left us without saying goodbye. He just called two of our group to accompany him. After the 2 girls went back, we just discovered that our clinical instructor has a separation anxiety. He didn’t want to see us leaving the barangay. It was then that I felt really sad. The community, our clinical instructor, together with Ate Jane and Lola Fely has been really special to me. In just 6 weeks, I learned to value them and love them. Leaving the community was really painful because I became attached with them. And that’s the sad thing about it. Parting ways. We left the barangay with uncontrollable falling tears from our eyes. I am just thankful that somehow, we left good memories in their hearts and in their minds.

We arrived in Manila at around 6pm and started preparing for our defense. I was also excited because I am going to watch my favorite band, Mojofly, in school. The concert will start at 7:30 pm. At 7:30, we were not yet done with studying the thesis. I got pissed with my other members because they were not helping or contributing anything. They have forgotten that this is a group work and only few of us worked for the preparation of the defense. I went out of Jollibee (our constant meeting place) to type our summary. I shouldn’t be doing this but I just took the responsibility because I just don’t want to disturb them having fun chitchatting while the others are busy with the statistical computations. Rhea and I went to the computer shop and I told her that we will sneak out just to see the Mojofly. It was already 9pm and we weren’t done with the printing yet. Trisha arrived in the computer shop because she also got pissed with the others. At 9:15 pm, we went to school just to see my favorite band but unfortunately, the guard didn’t let us in! I wanted to cry right then and there but it won’t do any help so I just accepted that I won’t be able to see them. But at least I heard them playing “Tumatakbo ang oras naiiwan na ako…” We slept at our groupmate’s house and all we ever wished is to have a miracle the next day.

Saturday
My groupmates’ laziness and where-is-your-common-sense welcomed me this morning which really really pissed me off again. I have said some things to some of my members that I know they won’t like to hear. Anyways, we had our defense and it went well. We have so much to revise but I am still thankful that we’re through and we passed.

Now I am ready to have a long, long, rest.

// EDIT: Just put up the layout my lovely affie, Sabina, gave me. EDIT//
