Today’s July 26!
Happy Birth day to ME!
Argh. My skills in PS is getting sucker and sucker. Pardon me!
Okay, so another year has been added to my age. Now what? I can’t hide my real age anymore! Ack! I’m getting older! Haha!
Anyways, it has been a week since I learned that I am now a newly registered nurse but honestly, it hasn’t pricked me yet. I still can’t believe that everything that I have prayed for, for the past years, was finally answered (including a new mobile phone!
) Oops! Except for two: to be hired and to be loved by someone I deserve. (Naks naman!) Next week, I’ll be very busy. I’ll start rolling and go find a job! Haha! Wish me luck!
Well, I really got nothing good to say except that it’s my birthday. All the things that I have thought last night to post in my blog just popped in the air and now, I just caught myself staring blankly at the monitor.
Last night, my long lost high school close friend (Anj) called me and I got really excited when I heard her voice! I mean, it was like agessss ago since we’ve talked over the phone and chat about our high school friends and the like. I asked her how are our classmates doing and to my surprise, a lot have succeeded already at a very young age! I didn’t expect that those whom we call pasaways graduated with flying colours! But it’s just so sad to hear that those who were like the wallflower back in high school turned into wild flowers.. wild… really wild. :-/ Let me quote what Anj said, “Nag-hi sa kanya si ___ tapos ni-deadma lang niya! Nag-cat walk pa sa harap niya. Kala mo na kung sino..” Tsk tsk tsk. Why do some people have to change? I mean, why do they have to pretend that they’re this and that when they can be accepted for who really he or she is? One key to failure in life is trying to please everyone. I do hope that she has that in mind. I’m just glad that for the past college years, I didn’t try to whitewash or anything. I told Anj that I never changed. It’s still me. I’m still the Xyla that she knew from the very beginning - only with an extension of RN at the end of my name. Haha!
