I have to agree with my friend’s entry in his blog. Just read this:
UST FORUMS AND THE LIKE READ THIS
I was aghast and happy at the same time BECAUSE of the same samematerial that is circling around us. What goes around comes around. And even for our beloved deans, fellow registered nurses, andstudents of UST, UP, and other schools, they don’t seem to fathom the point.
They say retake is the way… but my mind says not.
Why?Because it is the same old system that we are using. The same corruptsystem. There has always been a leakage and it’s being done in a hushhush manner. It’s not old news, neither it is history. It just sohappen that this year it just exploded right in our faces.
The ones who are clamoring for the retake SHOULD for the sake of JUSTICE and INTEGRITY of the PROFESSION which is the NURSINGPROFESSION address not only the present but also the futureBECAUSE the SYSTEM is IN PLACE. And if they are just addressingJUSTICE AND INTEGRITY THIS YEAR AND WILL NOT THINK ABOUT SOLUTIONS FORTHE FUTURE, they are just sourgraping.
Frankly, I’ll go for the retake. IF ONLY THEY WILL PINPOINT ANDAPPREHEND THE MASTER MIND, WILL REVISE THE CORRUPTED SYSTEM, AND FIXTHE SHITTY VALUE-LADEN, OPINION BASED EXAM TO A TRULY COMPETENCYBASED EXAM. And if the said forum addressed that, with all the brainsof our nursing leadears, alumni and professors of nursing schools, then WE WILL GET RID OF THIS PROBLEM FOREVER.
But if you don’t have the said solution, your thinking for the shortterm, then let them take the december exam.
Okay?
Nurse Corrupted
That is my point of view to. The hospitals shouldn’t just base the competency of a nurseon the board exam. Hello?! Do you actually know what’s the real content of our exam?! It wasn’t really competency based. It’s more opinionated and more on morality aspects. I did not see any interventions that has been taught in my school. Why can’t they just look at our transcript of records? Nang doon na magkaalamanan.
