… according to Xyla’s own perspective.
1. Appreciate all the things around you.
We should always remember that everything around us is a gift from our very own Creator. Don’t take those things for granted. Don’t ask for more. You can’t have everything at the same time, so be contented.
2. If you hate or have grudges on someone, tell him or her right away.
It is better that you release all those hatred rather than hiding it. It would not only cause you zits on your face, but also dyspnea (difficulty in breathing). And also, if you don’t like someone, don’t tell it to any person not involved… because it’s not you who will be happy.. but Satan.
3. Enjoy the food that you are eating.
Not everyone has food served on their table; so be thankful. Kahit tuyo pa yan or sardines, you should still be greatful.
4. Tell your friends and your loved ones, how much you love and value them.
Seeing them smile with your sweet words would really make your heart jump out of joy.
5. Try to be a Good Samaritan at least for a day.
For me, one of the greatest feelings in the world is seeing someone happy because you have helped him or her. No need to expect something in return like in cash or in card. A simple thank you will really complete your day.
6. Keep in mind that problems are just a piece of cake.
God won’t give you problems that He thinks you can’t handle. So stop that suicidal ideation, okay?! And always remember that sometimes, life can really be a bitch. Life can really be messy. And life can really be tough… BUT… prove them that you are tougher… and bitchier. Haha! Just kidding.
7. Don’t forget that someone loves you.
There’s no reason to rant on being alone because you have a lot of people around you who loves you and gives you importance. You just have to open your eyes because you might be overlooking.
8. Always pray and believe that God is always with you.
The thought of He is there listening to you is really enlightening.
9. Lastly, put this in your heart and in your mind, you are BLESSED.
The mere fact that you are reading my blog makes you a blessed person because not all people have personal computers with internet connection at their houses. The mere fact that you blog makes you a blessed person because not all people can read and write. The mere fact that you are eating three times a day makes you a blessed person because there are a lot of unfortunate people who “hunts” food through the garbage cans. There are still a lot more to add to make you realize that you’re a blessed person. I just hope that you won’t forget that the simple thought of being blessed will actually make you happy.
These are just some of the things that I think people often forget. I hope you spread the word… you might never know… that these nine things I’ve mentioned might lead to world peace. *dream on Xyla* Hehe.
