Oh yes.. I got a new layout again. I think this is better than the first one. This is more personalized… and more me.
I have a good news! I am getting better-er and better-errrr (pronounced with an emphasized “R” - LOL) now! The inflammation on my face and parotid glands is starting to subside. I took a pic a while ago because my mom told me so. (She wants a remembrance of my very very obese-like face) And that was a nice shot because I found myself very cute there. Talk about complimenting thy own self because no one compliments you. Haha.
So I talked about my promotion in Teentalk, right? From being an addicted member to Junior Moderator to Senior Moderator. I haven’t blogged this before, but lately, I have been receiving overwhelming messages from Teentalkers. Sort of like a fan mail or something. Haha. Feeling eh noh?! Err.. I am not telling this because I love the attention. It’s just that I am so touched with some people who never fail to drop by your thread just to say hi. I also receive private messages everyday asking for help and insisting me to go to the Candy Fair because they want to meet me. I remember, I visited a certain Teentalkers’ thread, and holy macaroni, I was so shocked with her reply. It says, “OMG! Ate Xyla visited my thread! Is this a dream?” And I was like… “uhhh.. What did I do?” Haha. I mean, it’s just a forum but it’s really astonishing to see those kind of messages and testimonials. Like what I told you, lately, someone just blogged about me.
On the other hand, I also received hate mails. Haha. Someone even bashed me in public and cursed me with the P.I. word. I was so stupefied to see those words because I was never cursed in front of many people in my entire life. I mean, even if it’s just posted in a forum, everyone will see and read it. And it isn’t a nice feeling that people would learn that someone’s cursing you. I didn’t give a damn, though. I never cursed back because it’s not the right thing to do.
It’s really a great feeling that people look up to you.. but it’s also inevitable that people would hate you for who you are. And that’s better than people liking or idolizing you for who you are not, right?

If only I’m some kind of a layout whore (I used to be one, but…what happened?!) This is yet another brilliant one from you. I agree, more personalized. Bwaha.
I don’t know how to do the Rrrrr-thing so I’m just gonna say that it’s nice you’re doing extremely well now. :)
I don’t really like Pinoy forums all that much because they tend to patronize certain individuals - namely yung mga sikat - so some others always get left behind. That’s from my own experience with SOME of ‘em forums. And you can’t get away from mean people, that I assure you, lol. But then, forums have wide range of members, right? Congrats again on snagging a Senior Moderator position. High salary rin ba? =p
Actually, I’ve linked you eons ago when I saw that you link me. So I’m just going to change the link from your domain name to this blogspot thingie. Sayang pa rin. :)

weeeh! Twinnie, asenso na sa forums ah! Ahihihi…i’m never really fond of joing forums nga lang…so kaya nga sa Pinaytalk hanggang ngayon ata ay taong grasa pa rin ako. ahahaha! pero yeah, once na you’re getting noticed, meron ka syempreng fans at mga detractors…natural lang yun kung magagandang tulad natin! ahahaha!

Awwww, why wouldn’t people look up the gorgeous Xyla? I’m happy for you, you deserve the ‘looking up to’. XD
And about the hate mail … we all get it some point in our life, don’t we? There’s just always someone out there who isn’t so … touched by what you have to say. XD
I find that true … It’s better for someone to hate you for who you are, rather then someone loving you for who you aren’t … Hmmmm.

I don’t like forums akin to Teentalk or Pinaytalk. I’ve been there but I can’t stand the ‘culture’ of these forums. It’s so phony. I’m not against Filipino forums, in fact I’m a regular member of BCO(Baguiocityonline) and AF(asiafineast).
