My brother and I went to the mall this noon. I just went there to check if the lastest ish of Candy is out now, but still, it isn’t. So I asked my bro to treat me. Hehe. I insisted him to buy me Shawarma. I’m really craving for it for like a week already. And thank God! He gave in! He bought me a special, spicy Shawarma. Yey! Thanks bro.
On our way home, he told me about this kid he saw while waiting for me to pay the bills. That kid was working for this certain game store. Talk about child labor. Then while we were still talking about it, we saw this 2 kids, in our subdivision, sweeping the streets. “Yan na nga ba sinasabi ko,” my bro uttered.
Tsk. When we reached our house, I couldn’t help myself but stare at those two kids. I pity them. I wish I could do something for them. I wish the government could do something for those children who are supposedly studying in school and not working for their family. Hay. What a sad reality.
Let’s just pray for them, people. And do something for them too.
