Because I am still a bum, I am starting to miss schooling again. I really do. I remember that I once said that I don’t want to go to school anymore because of some reasons. But now, I quite envy those students who go to school and enjoy or hate the life of being a student.
Now, let me look back on my student days.
When I was in…
Highschool
- I was a nobody who loves performing in school.
- I only excelled academically when I was in 4th year for the sake of showing remarkable grades in my dream school.
- I wasn’t popular. But my kabarkadas were known for their contributions in school.
- I was always chosen as the group leader for our cooking activities.
- I got infatuated with this varsity player who is apparently a closefriend of mine.
College
- I was only known by my classmates. Remember, we always had our reshuffling every semester. New semester, new classmates.
- Everybody thinks I am “that” genius/smart. Hindi naman eh.
- For a reason that I do not kow, a lot were insecured with me. :(
- Some did know me by my name because we have this yahoo groups and I made this sort of art thingy through Adobe Photoshop and showed it to them. And to my surprise, that piece of art was transferred into their cellphones and made it as a wallpaper.
- I tried to excel. Unfortunately, my grade didn’t reach the requirement for cum laude. Argh. 0.1 difference. Wtf. I just received a bronze medal as an Institute Awardee.
- I didn’t join any organizations. But I did perform in some institute programs.
- I was chosen as a leader in every subject. Gawd. That was hard but thank God, I managed to handle those different groups. I swear, it gave me a migraine.
- I fell inlove with this guy who only treated me as his bestfriend. We were also kind of M.U. Haha.
What I love about schooling
Highschool
- Afternoon practices for choir
- Pigouts with my barkada after schooling
- Feeling of excitement of going to school because you want to see your crush. *kilig*
- Sneaking out of the room to buy that oh-so delicious burger at the canteen
- Playing Snake on my cellphone or others’ cellphone because that was the “in” game before. Lol
- Staying in the clinic to have some sleep. Haha. I was a good actress, you know. *evil laugh*
- Performing
- Studying my favorite subject
- Meeting our cool teachers
- Making Tigbak of the people who pass by. Oh yeah, I was so mean before. Sorry about that. I changed already.
- Sharing each others’ baon or packed lunch.
- Watching basketball and cheering for your team.
- Intrams. Field demosntration. Foundation day.
- Weird games with barkada.
- Hanging out with friends.
- Christmas parties. Exchange gifts. Dressing up.
College
- Eating at carinderias. (first time!) Cheap and yummy!
- Overnights at my house or Tina’s house
- Going to different barangays and meeting people
- Cutting classes. Lol
- Tutoring my crush in my Math subject.
- Duties at the hospital and experiencing something new every duty.
- Community organization in Cavite.
- “Identity” and “In-Between” games. (with money involved. Harhar)
- Studying my favorite subject
- Meeting your cool professors
- Getting excited for PE class (basketball and dance)
- Being eager to go to school because I want to see my oh-so gorgeous ultimate crush. Rarr.
- Meeting people that never fail to give you a great lesson. Awww.
- Hanging out with friends and groupmates
What I hate about schooling…
- “Parasite” classmates. (Some usually depend on me when we have quizzes. Don’t worry. I sometimes give them the wrong answer when they’re going overboard. Harhar. Kidding. I only did that once. When they’re asking too much, I just tell them that I don’t know the answer. Bleh!)
- Unfair professors
- Mean classmates
- Stress
- Piles of paperworks
- Snatchers. Grrr. X(
Okay. So that’s it. I miss schooling. But, I am thankful that finally, I have achieved something, that is, to finish my studies. Yey!

Haha! I miss field demonstrations back in gradeschool, and the weeks full of rehearsals only for a 10-15 minute performance that’s not even going to be perfect no matter how hard we tried. hahaha!
Uyy!! tutoring your crush in Math ah. Nice strategies. hehehe =)

Josettia: thanks for droppin by my blog. I miss school. Really. Really? You were an outcast? Why?
Kath: if you dont wanna leave school, fail your subjects. haha. A piece of advice which I dont think you would definitely not follow.
Felisa: now go study your math subject! bilis! haha!
Tala: I enjoyed both. It’s just that I gained more confidence when I was in college.
Marj: Hehe. Yeah. I remember those days… Todo practice to the max.. Pero it would end up a mess pa rin. Lol.

You miss schooling?! Trueness? Hehe! Goodness naman! Rawr!
Haha. I’ve never been an I-miss-school girl. I know that many people say that after I graduate, I’d probably do miss everything about school. Err, ahem, no. ^_^
I admire you for keeping a low profile yet excelling in your classes. And at least you tried to meet the grade requirement for cum laude. Ako? Ewan. Never tried, and never will.
