Family Bonding at Ecopark

Enough with my previous rant… Please stop posting angry messages to the blogger’s site for she has already apologized. It’s okay now. You know that I don’t keep grudges as soon as the person apologized sincerely.

Anyway, last Saturday my family and I went to Lamesa Ecopark which is located in Fairview, Quezon City. We decided to visit the place because it has been featured in the news for a couple of times and of course, to take a break from the city’s pollution.

At the entrance
The place is really nice. If you are into nature, you would really like it even though it is not as beautiful as the sceneries in the provinces. You can do a lot of activities in one place. There’s the paint ball shooting area, a man-made lake where you can do the boating and feeding of ducks, a fishing pond, swimming pool, picnic area, a place for rappelling and biking and a lot more. I told you, you won’t get bored.

Here are some pictures we have taken:

And here are some of pics of me. Of course I won’t let the day end without camwhoring! Haha!

I really love going to places like the Ecopark where I can unwind, think of things to blog or write, or reflect about myself and my accomplishments. But what I really liked most is that our family had the time to bond like we used to when I and my siblings were still kids. We used to go to the parks and other beautiful spots in the country, have picnic together and enjoy the environment.

Our family is like just the other families who have these sort of problems. When I learned about it, I thought it is the end of the world. You know that my family is my strength and you know how much I do everything just for them. But when we had this major problem, I really became weak. I just kept quiet about it because I really do not want to talk about it. Some of my friends look up to my family and they always say that I am such a lucky daughter that I have good parents who can provide everything that I need. I remember one time when I told my classmates how grateful I am to be in this family. So when our family faced an obstacle, I did not know what to do. All I know was to cry and cry and cry. I thank the Lord for having my boyfriend because he was there to comfort me. He’s also my strength. And I also thank his mom for giving me an advice on what to do since I am the eldest.

I was really happy when we were in Ecopark. Not only because I was able to breathe fresh air once more, but because I saw my family happy. It’s as if we did not encounter such problems. I am really thankful that we’ve gone through those tests. I know that it’s just a challenge to my family and I am glad we survived.
