Oh, Torture!
Last Tuesday, I attended the first seminar. I found out that I have to attend two seminars: CHAMPP and CHARTS. When I reached the training room, I looked for a seat where I can see the slides clearly and everything that will be written on the white board. A guy asked if the seat right next to me is taken, I said no and so he sat beside me.
When the seminar started, I smelled something awful that lead me to control my breathing. I have to exhale and exhale instead of inhaling them exhaling. It was a total torture. And then I realized that my seat mate is talking… and then I fainted. Lol. Kidding.
Halitosis. One of the causes of death of people. No, of course I am kidding again. Halitosis is also called bad breath. It can be caused by a gastric disease or simply by poor oral hygiene. Some drugs can also cause this problems as well as STRESS.
According to Mama’s Health, here are some ways to lower the risk of having halitosis:
1. Brush and floss teeth regularly.
2. Clean and replace your toothbrush regularly.
3. Avoid mouthwashes with flavorings, dyes, and alcohol.
4. Avoid stress and seek out ways to relax and resolve stressful conditions in your life.
5. Get sufficient sunlight, exercise, and sleep.
6. Avoid spicy foods and those that leave residues or get stuck in the teeth (alcohol, cheese, meat, sweets).
7. Chew parsley after meals, it is very rich in chlorophyll, a natural mouthwash.
Let’s all consider those helpful ways so that we won’t let our neighbors suffer because of us. Haha! Don’t ignore this. Be a concerned citizen! PLEASE! =D

My name is Xyla, a 24-year-old Filipina unemployed registered nurse. I am a freelance writer for a nursing magazine of a review center. I aim to be a nurse leader in the future. With only 12 units left in my Master's Degree (Major in Medical-Surgical Nursing), I am ready to teach nursing students. During my past time, I kill Zombies, plant Cherry Bombs, Marigold and Melon Pult and make cheesy stuff for my boyfriend. I firmly justify that I am not too old for Glee-addiction. I hate prepositions. They make my life complicated.
