Sa wakas!
Finally, Caritas called for my seminar schedule. I waited their call last week but not a single ring from them was heard. I got paranoid that I decided to call them. I was told that I just have to wait for their call. LOL. Atat ba ako? What can I do? I am craving for work! =D
I was in the middle of my siesta when my mom shouted and woke me up because someone’s waiting for me over the phone. Yehey! It’s Miss Jonah of the HR! She told me to attend the seminar tomorrow at 1:30 pm and bring the requirements she enumerated. Wee! I am so excited!
Anyway, I’ll be going to the barangay hall tomorrow to get a new barangay clearance which is one of the requirements. My barangay clearance with me is outdated already and I am afraid that they won’t accept it.
That’s all for my job update.
Last Friday, I watched Across the Universe, a musical movie that features the Beatles’ song. It was totally great! I loved it. If you are a Beatles fan, watch it, though I assume that you already did because you are a fan, right? LOL
Hmm.. What else? Oh. American Idol Season 7′s finale will be held this week. I am rooting for David Cook. I am actually listening to his version of I Don’t Want To Miss A Thing, one of my all time favorite songs, right now. I also like his version of Always Be My Baby. I think a lot of Cook fans also like that version. I like the live version more than the studio version though because of the violin and drum “effects” – I do not know how to call it. Hehe.
Kellie Pickler made me laugh once more. Here’s a part of her interview (not in exact words) that I have watched in ETC:
Kelly: I got sad when Syesha left. I like her!
Interviewer: So who do you think will win this season?
Kelly: I think David’s gonna make it!
Haha! Ang adik mo Kellie.

I like Across the Universe as well. Specially when the part na kinanta na nila yun. I loved the part rin where Jude sang All You Need is Love. :)
I like David Archuleta, he’s got some good vocals but David Cook’s way too original. He seems to always rock the stage. I’ve got this feeling he’ll win. :)

And about the two Davids, hmmm… I agree that David Cook is original, but personally pamatay talaga ang vocals ni Archuleta. I seriously loved his rendition of Elvis Presley’s “Love me Tender.”
Although yeah, David Cook’s “I don’t wanna miss a thing” was killer as well. Especially the instrumentation.
I guess what I’m really trying to say is: Bahala na ang judges, ha ha!
