2008 is a very memorable year for me. A lot of things happened that I wished never happened but I guess, life’s like that. Everything has a purpose. I felt that I got a jinx this year but on the other hand, I became stronger than ever. Although I admit that there are still times that I get sad and just cry at night until I’d fall asleep whenever I remember those heartaching moments.

The worst thing that ever happened to me this year was receiving a very heartbreaking news that I never imagined to happen. I thought everything’s okay and all… but I guess people make mistakes. No one’s perfect. It’s just really saddening that a person really close to my heart did something that I won’t forget. Yeah, I already forgave that person but I won’t be able to forget it because it almost changed my life, our lives… everything. I just hope, wish and pray that it won’t happen again.

On the other hand, even though I never thought that I’d still be unemployed until this time, there are a lot of good things that happened this year. I get to celebrate with my love on our anniversary (thanks for the greetings, by the way!), I was hired even for a short time (I resigned after4 days? Haha!), I was given an opportunity to go back to the hospital for a three-month training, I won in a blog contest, I got recognized for the award I won and met the people I’ve always wanted to meet,  I had a successful operation, I was able to have fun in different places (also include Zoobic Safari), I started getting addicted with digital scrapbooking, and I learned more lessons to improve myself and my life.

2009 is a few steps away.  I don’t have any new year’s resolutions listed yet but I am keeping my fingers crossed that this new year would be a year of success for me. I may have become depressed this year 2008, but I promise to lift my chin up and bravely face the journey that awaits me this coming year of our Lord. (Hoping not to break that promise!)
