What do you do when you're bored?
One thing that I really do not like to experience is to get bored. I hate boredom. Well, who doesn’t right? The word boredom shouldn’t have been coined in the first place. Maybe that person has nothing to do so he/she thought of that word. Ohkay. Am I making sense here?
But thanks to boredom, I was able to do the things that I don’t normally do. Or let’s say, I was able to do the things again that I used to do way back when I wasn’t busy.
1. Write a story.
I am writing a story again because I got an inspiration. Right now, I stopped on Chapter 3 because of my layout business. But I really promise to finish it this time because I already had two unfinished stories and I don’t want to fail my readers again. Hehe!
2. Layout Business as mentioned
I effin’ need to earn money. Thanks to my creative mind. Hehe!
3. Practice driving
My parents always rant that I would have been driving now by myself if only I had the eagerness to practice when my dad first taught me 7 years ago. And because I don’t want to hear those same sermons anymore, I did what they have always wanted me to do.
4. Review
I decided to read my reviewers again every morning so that I won’t forget what I’ve learned in school.
5. Learn something new.
And that’s photography. I don’t have the passion for taking pictures. I am not doing this because everyone’s like, “OMG! I seriously need to get a DSLR for myself!” or “Wow! Everybody’s loving photography! I should try it too to fit in!” Haha. Seriously? I was just bored this morning and then I saw my sister’s camera and tried to take a few shots. I am not aiming to be a good photographer… I just need something to do when I am bored.
So that’s it. How about you? What do you do when you’re bored? I might get an idea in your replies. :)

hmmm, when I’m bored – I sleep or read or do some art stuff – photoshop or scrapblog or html or daydream. Sometimes, I go to the park and be a child again or do window shopping in some tiangges or church.
Ideas for you – do some community work like go a public school and help a teacher or in public library and read books to children or visit places like home for the aged and talk to the elders, tutor nursing students (this one either for free or paid). Try reading your articles before and maybe edit it to make more inspirational or something and send it to magazines and newspapers.

Ako, I indulge myself into reading books (lately lang) coz I realized tat it would help me enhance my vocabulary and my writing skills as well. Hehe. Sometimes, I make digital scrapbooks, edit photos or read articles from forums and other blogs. Gaah, that’s also boring, I know. Haha.
How I wish I also have a DSLR so I could learn how to shoot photos as well. Daym. I envy tat you got the chance to take pictures. :( Huhu. But yeah, that’s an interesting activity when you get used to it. ;)

My usual things when I’m bored:
Stare at the ceiling. Looking at the horizon. Bum around. Daydream. HAHAHAHA! Joke lang naman.
Gaya mo, I write stories. Pero ginagawa ko lang yung pag broken hearted ako. Pag masaya ako, asahan mo na wala akong story. Hahaha. Chat mode ako pag bored. I also drive around pag bored, kaya bru, mag-aral ka na ulit magdrive. Maawa ka sa tatay mo. Hahaha. I read books, magazines, comics, etc. I take pictures too. I watch DVD. I go online the whole day. Haha
Pag talagang bored na bored ako at wala na akong magawa, naglilinis na lang ako ng kwarto tapos sabay kakanta. Hahaha

when i’m bored? i download albums that i never heard before tapos analyze the lyrics and kung maganda i try to play it on my guitar :)

When I’m bored I try to write, too. I also read stuff on FictionPress.com and surf for upcoming flicks on IMDB. And I also play around with my camera when I can. Like you I don’t aim to be the world’s greatest photographer but then it is something to waste time on, right?
