I will
It’s final. I am really leaving the school this week. My students have already accepted the fact that I am going. I know they’re hurt about my news but I can not do anything about it because this decision is for my future.”Teacher, why you go?” “Teacher, you have schedule in the hozspital?” “Teacher, please give me a present before you go.“ It’s really sad to let them go but I know in the end, we would still part ways. The only difference is that I am the first to leave.
This afternoon, my student sang a song. It’s her current favorite song and I was so amused with the way she sang it. It’s cute! Imagine a Korean student who knows a little English and sings a song from The Beatles… Amazing!
Who knows how long I’ve loved you
You know I love you still
Will I wait a lonely lifetime
If you want me to, I will.
If I ever saw you
I didn’t catch your name
But it never really mattered
I will always feel the same.
Love you forever and forever
Love you with all my heart
Love you whenever we’re together
Love you when we’re apart.
And when at last I find you
Your song will fill the air
Sing it loud so I can hear you
Make it easy to be near you
For the things you do endear you to me
Oh, you know, I will
I will.
That’s what she sang. And now, I kept on playing that song because it stuck in my head the whole day. I feel like it’s a farewell song for me… And now… I am in tears, once again.

My name is Xyla, a 24-year-old Filipina unemployed registered nurse. I am a freelance writer for a nursing magazine of a review center. I aim to be a nurse leader in the future. With only 12 units left in my Master's Degree (Major in Medical-Surgical Nursing), I am ready to teach nursing students. During my past time, I kill Zombies, plant Cherry Bombs, Marigold and Melon Pult and make cheesy stuff for my boyfriend. I firmly justify that I am not too old for Glee-addiction. I hate prepositions. They make my life complicated.

Aww. Kids are really awesome sweetie pies. Plus, they don’t lie kaya you’ll know na they’re saying/doing what they really feel.
I love that song! And ang kulit nung nagsabi na bigyan mo siya ng gift. HAHA =)

I need to catch up. Hahaha!
I know that you already left the school — thanks to facebook — I am happy for you that you already made up your mind. I know that you will miss them but I know that your decision will help you for your future.
Your former students are really cuties!
