Quick May Updates

Wow. I actually neglected my blog for a couple of days. Anyways, I really have nothing to say. My life’s been busy for the past few days. So here are some life updates:

I am done with volunteering. They scheduled me for an exam. Yay! I am finally taking the exam! :D Wish me luck.
I have another exam to take this Saturday (I don’t even know its scope!) but I’ll not give all the details about it for now.
Kris Allen won! Yay. Actually, I am really a huge Danny Gokey fan. I have been rooting for him since the audition days but I am still happy with the final two. Adam Lambert and Kris Allen are my bets too. I know Adam Lambert will be very successful. He’s iconic! Way to go for the cutie!
I am turning into an online stalker. Thanks to twitter.
Finally, Bru Gracie and I met in person. I’ll be posting the pics here if I don’t get lazy. Hehe!
It’s our 17th month today. :) Feels so good to be inlove <3

Holy Week 2009

I am guilty of not being able to join in the holy week activities. My family is so busy cleaning, arranging and fixing things here inside the house because it is being renovated. We took the opportunity while the workers are on their holy week break. If you only saw our house last week, it was really a total mess! At least now, the floors are already mopped. The dirt and saw dusts are lessened and the furnitures were put in one place for the mean time.

I feel that my holy week this year isn’t as meaningful as the previous years but I thank God for all the blessings especially that I received a good news just recently. I was allowed to extend my contract as a volunteer for a month. The other volunteers weren’t allowed. I don’t know why. And another thing, I was asked to take the exam because my evaluation from the supervisors were remarkable. Woo! Sad part is that I can’t take the exam until I finish my extension.

My April 3 date with Icy and Mitchie went well too. That’s another entry to post but I am still lazy to fix the pictures. Just wait for it. Hihi.

Last Tuesday, I went to the mall to shop with my sister. I got a new gray sleeveless top. I love it. I can use it this summer with jeans or shorts. I can also wear it for an interview. It’s an all-around top! Hihi. Later that afternoon, we headed to the Ukay-Ukay store in a tiangge mall near us. I bought another sleeveless top and a blue-flowery skirt for only 300. I really, really love Ukay-Ukay aka thrift shopping! I can’t wait to go back next week! Hehe.

This post is a random update. I am excited to go back to the hospital next week. I hope they allow me to get the morning schedule again.

What do you do when you're bored?

One thing that I really do not like to experience is to get bored. I hate boredom. Well, who doesn’t right? The word boredom shouldn’t have been coined in the first place. Maybe that person has nothing to do so he/she thought of that word. Ohkay. Am I making sense here?

But thanks to boredom, I was able to do the things that I don’t normally do. Or let’s say, I was able to do the things again that I used to do way back when I wasn’t busy.

1. Write a story.

I am writing a story again because I got an inspiration. Right now, I stopped on Chapter 3 because of my layout business. But I really promise to finish it this time because I already had two unfinished stories and I don’t want to fail my readers again. Hehe!

2. Layout Business as mentioned

I effin’ need to earn money. Thanks to my creative mind. Hehe!

3. Practice driving

My parents always rant that I would have been driving now by myself if only I had the eagerness to practice when my dad first taught me 7 years ago. And because I don’t want to hear those same sermons anymore, I did what they have always wanted me to do.

4. Review

I decided to read my reviewers again every morning so that I won’t forget what I’ve learned in school.

5. Learn something new.

And that’s photography. I don’t have the passion for taking pictures. I am not doing this because everyone’s like, “OMG! I seriously need to get a DSLR for myself!” or “Wow! Everybody’s loving photography! I should try it too to fit in!” Haha. Seriously? I was just bored this morning and then I saw my sister’s camera and tried to take a few shots. I am not aiming to be a good photographer… I just need something to do when I am bored.
